Meditation is my favorite wellness tool. There are so many benefits to meditating. It lowers your stress, helps you sleep better, and creates more peace in your mind. It can also decrease inflammation in the body and reverses the aging process of the brain. It’s an amazing healing tool to use! Plus it is free and you can do it any where!
Last week The New York Times published an article, How Meditation Changes the Brain and Body . In the article they reference a study published in Biological Psychiatry that finally brings scientific evidence to what many of us already knew, that mindfulness actually changes the chemistry in the brain.
So today, we celebrate that in light of this new evidence based research, more people will discover the benefits of meditation.
